Music: Score by Peter Johnson

“For this work I am deeply inspired by the origin of music or where we think music and dance comes from. It started by asking – exactly why do we dance to music? What is it about music that makes us feel the way we do when we listen to it?”

“The desire to move comes from the inside, it is imbedded into our DNA. In this work we will be exploring how music moves us individually, how we express the feelings that come with it through complex rhythms and sounds. It is a small journey to our sacred chant. Everything, all sounds, every step we take and every word we speak has a rhythm.” MN.
